Dawning of a New Day

This is my 1st attempt at Watercolor Collage using Japanese Rice Paper....Love it! It has the brilliance I have been seeking and such a unique look, even though I was trying to control it, it just took on its own personality....it was a hit at the Survivor's Art Show at the West Clinic! I will definitely add this new technique to my faves!

Bon Appetit 22x30 Watercolor

This was my first attempt at a Collage using bits and pieces of two of my previous paintings and then painting around them as the "picture" came to mind. This was exilherating!!!!! I haven't had this much fun painting in a long time!

Night Song

"Night Song"

is a painting of how God spoke to me through his beautiful words in Zephaniah 3:17 during a very painful time in my life; "The Lord your God is in your midst....He will rejoice over you with singing." How Awesome is that!!!!

"All I Have Needed..."

This is my most recent painting- just a bit more tweaking and it should be finished! I've entitled it "All I Have Needed..." from the hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness." As the painting started to come together, I was hit with how much He provides and in so many ways, and how oblivious (MOSTLY!) I am.
